I'M DEAD?

It has been quite a long time since I've been on this blog! Before you go ranting about how inconsistent I am, I would like to say that I am a very busy human being. I usually plan my stories before I start writing it on the blog, but it takes a long time to do that. Instead of pre-planning, I'm trying a new method. I am freestyling! It would be more consistent, and I'll be able to post more. The thing about free-styling is that the story will be told, and I'll be the one writing it. The outcomes are unpredictable,but I do plan the storyline in my head. I'm always writing the story in my head.
For the past couple of months, I have been learning about my method of writing. I learned that I write best when I'm freestyling. I want to just write what comes out, and see how the outcomes are. I want the stories to write itself and let it sink it, if you know what I mean.
As you probably know, I have made a new chapter. This chapter is free styled. Please let me know if you enjoy this style of writing. More chapters will be posted soon!

Chapter 12: Mysti

The fight began. Blood splattered and stained the forest floor, claws tore apart fur, and howling filled the air. Mysti was now alert, unsheathing her claws. She glanced around, trying to find Sova. She took a sigh of relief as she locked eyes with Sova. Thank goodness, he's safe. As she relaxed, Mysti did not pay attention to the rival enemy, prowling behind her. Sharp claws pierced Mysti's back. A heavy weight made her crash down onto the floor. She howled in pain, struggling to get out of the rival's hold. Her rival was the same Tundra Protector that had been at the entrance of the Tundra Encampment. His broad muscles weighed Mysti down and his razor sharp claws dug into her. There was no way that Mysti could beat him. Suddenly, a ball of beige fur shot across her, knocking down the Tundra protector. Sova! Mysti scrambeled out of her rival's hold and steadily stood up. She leaped to Sova's side and the two fought off the rival together. Mysti snapped at the Tundra wolf, making sure he felt pain. Sova protected Mysti's back, fighting off other rivals that tried to attack them. A loud howl coming from Alpha Convel, the Tundra leader, arose.
"Retreat!" he howled. A Tundra wolf that Mysti had been fighting off reluctantly backed away. Mysti nipped at the she-wolf's smoky black tail, frigthtening her. The wolf ran away, yelping. Mysti lift her chin up with pride. Sova nudged her.
"Don't be too happy, that wolf was just a Trainee Battler," he teased. Mysti rolled her eyes. Her eyes then trailed off to Alpha Convel. His deep green eyes met Mysti's. She froze for a moment as she focused on Alpha Convel's deep, green eyes. It seemed to hold a deep secret. Perhaps he was not saying something that should be told. He narrowed his eyes as if he knew what Mysti was thinking. Sova stepped in front of Mysti, breaking her stare.
"Hey, the group is heading out." he spoke.
"Huh?" Mysti shook her head. "Oh, right."
As the group headed out, Mysti glanced over her shoulder. Alpha Convel was still at the same spot he had been. His eyes were dark and mysterious. Mysti shook her head. I think too much! Alpha Convel has nothing to hide. He's just trying to scare me...

Chapter 11: Mazaska

Mazaska's fur was matted and unkept. Every step she took, she winced with pain. Her paws where chipped and her throat was dry. The sun was piercing down her back with no sign of rain. Zayev slowly followed Mazaska. His eyes where bloodshot red and his tongue lolled out.
"We're lost..." Zayev croaked. Mazaska did not answer. "The Sky Spirits aren't guiding us. Your visions may have not even been real! It could've just been a useless dream. Now here we are, out in the open." His eyes gleamed with anger.
"Aren't you listening to me?" he roared. "This quest is for nothing! I knew that Abaddon was not arising! I knew that you where wrong!" Zayev leaped towards Mazaska and aimed his teeth at her throat, but Mazaska was too quick. She swiftly dodged his attack and countered-attacked. Mazaska lunged onto his back and brought Zayev crashing onto the ground.
"Are you really doubting the Sky Spirits?" Mazaska growled. "Can't you see? Abaddon is trying to stop us from completing the journey. If we don't succeed, the Packs will shatter under Abaddon's rule! This is exactly what he wants!" Zayev gets out of Mazaska's hold and shakes his fur. "We need to work together if we want to resist Abaddon." declares Mazaska.

~~~
After what seemed hours, the two wolves stumbled upon a pool of water. Green, luscious plants grew all around the pond.  Grass grew on the fertile soil and fish swum inside the clear water.
"The safe zone..." the two breathed out. Mazaska and Zayev slumped onto the ground, relieved to have finally reached their destination.
"Welcome." a voice called out. Mazaska quickly got onto her paws and glanced around frantically.
"Who's there?" she growls menacingly.
"Relax, young one. You are safe here in the Oasis." the same she-wolf in Mazaska's dream spoke.
"Am I dreaming again?" Mazaska interrogated. The she-wolf shook her head as a no.
"This is the only place where Sky Spirits are safe. Abaddon's power is getting greater and greater everyday. If we go into the Forest, we might be slayed by Abaddon's creatures."
"Creatures?" Mazaska gasped.
"Yes. He has risen creatures from the Dark Forest. They are creeping everywhere, so take caution." the she-wolf forewarned.
"Where are--" Before she can finish her sentence an ear-piercing howl came from Zayev. Mazaska ran to his aid, but stop dead. Blood circled inside the once, clear pool.
"How could this happen?" gasped the she-wolf. "Abaddon's power is strong... too strong." The Oasis was no longer safe and so were Mazaska and Zayev.
Chapter 10: Mysti
Mysti placed her nose on her sister's cheek and whispers,"Please be safe on your journey." Mazaska nodded and parted away from Mysti. Her sister and the wolf from Tundra Pack then took off. "May the Sky Spirits be with you!" Mysti cried out as she struggled to see her sister through the tall trees. The air felt thin to Mysti. The forest suddenly felt empty. Mazaska is gone.
~~~

"Wake up, Mysti!" growled Sova as he nudged Mysti's side.
"Wh-what? Is it time for training? The sun hasn't come up yet!" she whined.
"It's not that." Sova paused. "Alpha Cailean set up a group to go to Tundra Encampmen and we're part of it. We're getting Mazaska back." Mysti bolted right up, her eyes widen with fear.
"We're leaving now, Alpha Cailean is waiting for us." Sova said as he made his way out of the den. Mysti stood there, frozen. No... we can't go! If they find out if Mazaska is gone, Tundra and Dawnfall Pack might get into a fight!
"Mysti! We have to go now!" growled Sova. Mysti shook her head and padded towards the group. Alpha Cailean began to explain to the group their plan.
"We are not here to fight," she instructed,"we are here to get Mazaska back." The group nodded, their eyes raged with hatred towards their rival pack. With a flick of Alpha Cailean's tail, the group gathered up and made their way towards Tundra Encampment.
As they sprinted towards Tundra borders, Mysti's tail shook with unease. They're going to find out... We're going to battle... We're--
"Aren't you listening to me?" Sova snarled into Mysti's ear. She flinched and shook her head as a no. Sova sighed heavily and fixed his eyes ahead.
At last, the group halted. A Tundra Protector narrowed his eyes at the group.
"Why have you come here?" the Tundra wolf padded towards Alpha Cailean. The wolf was very muscular and his fur was smokey black. He was much larger than Alpha Cailean, yet she did not flinch.
"I am here to have a discussion with Alpha Convel." she replied boldly.
"Where are they here?" he glared at the group and Mysti gulped nervously as she made an effort to stop the shaking of her tail.
"They will stay up front. I shall take my business inside." The Tundra wolf called out for three other Protectors to inspect the group as Alpha Cailean went inside Tundra Encampment.
The Tundra Protectors stared menacingly at the group. Mysti stared at the ground nervously, dreading the battle that will break when they find out that Mazaska is missing. Suddenly a loud cry came from inside the encampment. A young she-wolf with pure white fur cried.
"She is gone!" Suddenly, a loud growl came from Sova. He then leaped towards the nearest Tundra Protector and leashed his claws towards the Protector's throat.

Chapter 9

Mazaska treks across the vast land with sore paws. Zayev follows Mazaska slowly. The sun was scorching down on the two as they went through the rough landscape. Mazaska squinted her eyes as she stared upon the bright sky. Our packs must noticed that we are missing by now...
"Mazaska..." mutters Zayev. "We need to take a break and eat... My paws are sore!" Mazaska shakes her head as a no and Zayev sighs sadly.
"We need to reach the Mountains by sundown." she pointed out. Zayev grunts loudly and hesitantly follows. He lifts his head up high and points his nose towards a small shade.
"Look, shade!" he races over towards the cooling spot and wraps his tail around him. Mazaska narrows her eyes at him and reluctantly follows him.
"Perhaps I'll be able to see one of the Sky Spirits in my dreams." Mazaska mutters as she curls up into a ball beside Zayev. She shuts her eyes tightly and attempts to enter the realm of Sky Spirits.

~~~
The same wolf from Mazaska's previous dream appears. Her fur was gleaming with mist, gray and her blue eyes sparkled. The wolf from her last dream padded towards her, resting her soft eyes on Mazaska. The elegant wolf opened her mouth to speak, but black smoke quickly surrounded the two. The beautiful wolf wrapped her tail around Mazaska to protect her. Mazaska stared at the she-wolf's eyes. Instead of a soft expression, the she-wolf's face was full of panic and dismay.
"Run!" Mazaska stood there, puzzled, for a few heart beats. "Run, child! Run until you enter the safe sanctuary!" Mazaska nodded and sprinted. She did not know where to go, she just had to find the safe sanctuary. The black smoke continued to pursue Mazaska as she ran as fast as she could. A light glow was just ahead of her. The safe sanctuary! Mazaska continued to run with every strength that she can muster. Suddenly, the black smoke engulfed her.
~~~

"Wake up, Mazaska, wake up!" cried Zayev. She opened her eyes in a jolt and stood up quickly.
"Wh-what happened?" her breathing quickened. Suddenly, Mazaska's surroundings felt scorching hot. Red flames surrounded the two wolves. She could almost hear the hissing from the red fire.
"We have to get out of here!" she howled.
"How? There's no where to go!" Zayev shrieked back. "We're going to die!" Mazaska had to think of a plan. No, there is no time to think.
"We run!" Mazaska yelled. Zayev nodded and the two raced out of the dry land. They jumped over broken trees and avoided fiery flames. Mazaska squinted her eyes to see the Mountains.
"We have to reach the Mountains... We'll be safe there!" she panted. Run until you enter the safe sanctuary. The she-wolf's words rang throughout Mazaska's head. I hope we are going to the right place...

Chapter 8

The two wolves made their way through the large forest. The sun was slowly creeping up the hill and they still haven't made a way out of the Forest.
"We're not going to get out of here in time... Tundra Pack is going to notice that we're not there in no time!" Zayev spoke tiredly. Mazaska blocked his voice out and fixed her eyes ahead.
"We're almost out. We just got to pass Dawnfall territory." Mazaska almost choked out the name of the pack.
"Y-you're..." Zayev continues,"not going to ditch me... Are you?" Mazaska glances at him with a frown.
"You don't trust me?" she hisses. Zayev gulps nervously.
After trekking for what seemed hours, the two wolves finally arrived Dawnfall territory,
"Let's just get out of here quickly..." murmured Mazaska. The two picked up their pace. Mazaska didn't like going through her territory. Smelling the familiar scents of her pack made her want to turn back. She wanted to leave Zayev so bad and return to her Pack. If I don't do this then I won't have a Pack to return to... Mazaska thought. She shook her head and continued on. Zayev suddenly came to a halt.
"Zayev! We don't have time to stop. And don't you even think of trying to hunt in our territory!" growled Mazaska. Zayev's eyes widened and something told Mazaska that Zayev didn't want to hunt. A wolf, a bit smaller than Mazaska and Zayev, came out from the bushes. She growled furiously at the two. Suddenly, both Mazaska and the wolf froze.
"Mazaska?"
"Mysti?"
Mysti, Mazaska's sister, playfully nudged her sister.
"A patrol was just sent to find you! Alpha Cailean was really worried about you!" Mysti spoke happily. "I was really worried about you, too!"
"I do too, but I have to go..." Mazaska stuttered.
"You missed so much, Sova just beca-- What? Why?" Mysti asked anxiously. "Is... Is it because that wolf is forcing you to go?" she growls at Zayev as he flinches.
"N-no! Look, I don't have time, but please just don't tell anyone!" Mazaska pleaded. Mysti reluctantly nods her head at her sister's request.
"Zayev and I are going on a quest... The Sky Spirits wanted us to go on the journey. If we succeed, we will be saving the whole Packs!" Mysti widened her eyes with disbelief.
"I promise not to tell. The hunting group will be arriving at any minute so... So you might have to go." Mysti sighs. Mazaska dips her head as a thank you and nuzzles her sister. Mazaska waves her tail good bye to her sister and the two wolves make their way out of the Forest.

Chapter 7

It was nightfall and the air was humid. Mazaska lifted her nose up to the air and breathed in the forest smell. She looked up to the sky and stared upon the shining stars.
"Dear Sky Spirits... Please help us as we go on this journey." she whispered. Zayev padded over to Mazaska's side. A she-wolf came along with him. Her fur was caramel brown and her eyes where bright amber.
"This is Aspen." Zayev spoke. Mazaska narrowed her eyes and snarled.
"Why did you bring her? She'll tell Alpha Convel about us leaving the forest!" Mazaska snapped, her fur bristling with anger.
"I am not going to tell him about it. I knew that some day that Abaddon would rise again. I tried telling my fellow pack-mates about it, but they all shrugged me off. Afterall, no one believes young wolves." Aspen spoke. Mazaska narrowed her eyes at Aspen.
"If we're still on our journey and Abaddon rises, Aspen will be the only one who would know what to do." Zayev explained. "She won't be coming with us, but she'll be keeping an eye out back here." Mazaska fell silent.
"Okay... Let's go, I want to be as far away from the forest by sunhigh." she finally said.
"Wait!" Mazaska halted. "You will need some traveling herbs." Aspen declared. Reluctantly, Mazaska followed Aspen into the Shaman's Den. Aspen scanned through the cracks where the herbs where in until she found the right traveling herbs.
"Here, this will give you some strength." Aspen grabbed Burdock Roots and carefully rapped them into large leaves. Mazaska picked up the herbal package into her mouth.
"Thank you..." she murmured.
Mazaska and Zayev silently made their way out of the encampment.
"I will go as far as the Tundra Pack borderlines."Aspen said gently. Now, there they where, in between Tundra and Dawnfall borderlines. "I will spill some badger blood on some leaves so that it would look like you two where killed."
"Yes, but what about our bodies?" Mazaska questioned.
"Have you ever heard of the badger tales? Everyone believes that a badger eats wolves. Now go, time is running out." Mazaska nodded and began to pad alongside with Zayev.
"May the Sky Spirits guide you!" Aspen called out as the two made their way to Where the Light Touches the Sky.

Chapter 6

Abaddon hisses, full of disguist. He absolutely despised the Sky Spirits. He held a hateful grudge towards them ever since he was exiled into the Uknown Forest. Now that the Packs where growing weak, he was not hesitant to seize his power once again. Day by day, he is restoring his strength to end the Packs.

~~~
"We can't go to the place where Lights Touch the Sky!" cried Zayev. Mazaska rolled her eyes.
"You doubt everything! Take a chance for once." she glared at Zayev.
"We don't even know where it is? What if we get lost? What if... What if we get killed!" his fur rose with fear and uneasiness.
"The Sky Spirits will guide us and they always will be. We go on our journey at nightfall. Let's get some sleep." she ordered. Zayev sighs and bounds towards the Trainee's Den and Mazaska follows. She settles down and wraps her tail around her.
~~~

An elegant wolf with misty, gray fur and crystal, blue eyes appeared on top of the tall trees. The mysterious wolf jumped off from the great tree and landed gracefully. Mazaska gasped and took a step back.
"Who are--"
"Silence, young one." Mazaska stared at the wolf's eyes. It showed years of wisdom. "Listen carefully, for what I am about to tell will be the first step on your adventure. I do not have much time to explain."
"Peel open your eyes for evil." Mazaska blinked.
"That's... That's it?"
The mysterious wolf nodded. Then, Mazaska spotted a faint, white star on the forehead of the female-wolf.
"You are one of the Sky Spirits!" Mazaska gasped.
Once again, the wolf nodded.
"Beware for the--"
Mazaska opened her eyes. The familiar scents of the Tundra Pack surrounded her. What had the mysterious wolf wanted to tell her? What did her message mean? There was so much questions that was left unanswered. Although, it was too late. It was nightfall.

Chapter 5

Mazaska stared at Zayev with disbelief.
"That's the same look all the other wolves look at me." he sighs. "Sometimes I hear them saying that I too will bring destruction to the Four Packs. If my ancestor, Abaddon, rises, everyone will believe that I will side with him. They may even force me to leave the pack!" Mazaska opens her mouth, but nothing comes out.
"You don't know how hard it is. How hard it is to go through the harsh words that they call me." Zayev whimpers, his body shaking.
"I-I'm sorry... I didn't know--"
"Of course you wouldn't know!" he says sharply. Mazaska flinches and takes a step back. "Sorry... I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to."
"It's fine." she says, still agitated.
"What are we going to do then?" Zayev changes the subject. "No one will believe us."
"You can't be sure." Zayev tilts his head. "Perhaps your leader will believe us, but it mustn't come from me, you have to tell him." Zayev snorts.
"You honestly believe that an outsider like me would make a difference?"
"Pack leaders must always hear what their clan mates have to say. True leaders listen." Mazaska explains. Zayev nods in agreement.
"Ok, I'll do it."

~~~
"You wanted to speak?" Alpha Convel circles around Zayev and pierces his dark eyes at at him. Mazaska slouches down and hides behind a bush near the Alpha's Den. She leans in and focuses on Zayev's conversation with Alpha Convel.
"Y-yes... I-I believe th-tha--"
"Stop muttering, young one. It shows weakness." Alpha Convel orders.
"Oh, um, yes sir." Zayev gulps. "I think I recieved an omen from the Sky Spirits." He pauses and glares at Alpha Convel's eyes.
"What kind of omen?" Mazaska lets out a sigh of relief as Alpha Convel said the statement.
"Well, Mazaska had a dream about--"
"Mazaska, the intruder!" roared Alpha Convel. Zayev yelps and takes a leap back. Mazaska gasps and hides deeper into the bushes. "A tresspasser who has omens from the Sky Spirits? Zayev,  you must think. The intruder is trying to spook us. She is trying to make us look vulnerable. For a while I thought that you would better yourself. You are excused." Alpha Convel flicks his tail and Zayev leaves the Alpha's Den. Mazaska makes her way towards Zayev.
"I heard..."
"What are we going to do? The Packs are going to be destroyed!" he wailed.
"The Packs will never be destroyed. Since no one will believe us, there is only one place that we can go to where we can help destroy Abaddon once and for all." Zayev leans in.
"We have to go to the place where the Lights Touch the Sky."
Chapter 4
Snarling arose deep in the lonesome forest. Mazaska was standing in the heart of the woods surrounded by echoing growls from an unknown creature.
"Come out, now!" Mazaska shouted, making an effort to hide her nervousness. "Y-you can't hide f-forever!" The snarling from the creature became louder. Slowly, a dark figure stepped out from the fog. Its eyes where blood-shot red and its fur was filthy. Mazaska's eyes widen with fear and her body froze.
"I've been observing the Packs..." the creature said in a scratchy voice. Mazaska looked at the stranger with confusion and disbelief. She opened her mouth to speak, but her words where stuck in her throat.
"I've been trapped in this forest for too long..." the figure said. A deep scar was marked across his eye along with other deep scars embed on his skeletal body. "now it's time for me to redeem myself. Evil is coming and this time, the Packs will be destroyed."
~~~

"Wake up!" growled Zayev. He then bit Mazaska on the scruff and hauled her out of the cave.
"What are you doing?" howled Mazaska frantically. "We have to warn the Packs that evil is coming!" Zayev instantly let go of her and stared at her with a puzzled look. He then shook his head and narrowed his eyes.
"Dawnfall wolves really are crazy, aren't they?" he muttered softly.
"I'm not crazy! You have to believe me, I had a dream--"
"Only Shamans have dreams, not low life wolves like you!" Zayev snarled. Mazaska lifted up her paw to rake her claws across Zayev's face until she looked up at the sky. The clouds where painted dark red, like the color of blood. Zayev looked up at Mazaska's gaze and he too was astonished and uneasy.
"It must be an omen from the Spirits..." breathed out Zayev.
"I saw someone in my vision." began Mayzaska, "I didn't quite see him, but he had a deep scar across his face. He said that evil was coming and that this time, the Packs would be destroyed." Zayev's eyes showed a flash of fear. He backed away slowly, his mouth quivering. He then took off and sprinted to the forest, with Mayzaska following him.
"What's wrong with you? I was trying to tell you about the vision!" she howled as she dodged pieces of branches.
"Leave me alone, your vision is a lie!" he fixed his eyes ahead, attempting to outrun Mazaska as she jumped over obstacles.
"You have to listen to more or else the Packs will be in danger. We may not even have the Packs anymore!" Zayev glanced back and began to slow down.
"Thank goodness... I thought you would never slow down." she mumbled, her chest heaving.
"I didn't want to tell you this." Mazaska looked up at Zayev. "I thought it was a myth. They said that I was descended from him, but I didn't want to believe them."
"Do you mean you're..."
"Yes, I'm a descendant of Abaddon. The wolf who almost brought chaos and destruction of all Four Packs."

Chapter 3

"Get off me you big lump of--" The Tundra member bit Mazaska's side as a warning bite. She yelped loudly with pain. "Where are you taking me to, you savage?" snarled Mazaska. The Tundra wolf ignored her question and fixed his eyes ahead. "Fine, don't answer me then..." she mumbled.
"We're taking you to Tundra Encampment where you will face Alpha Convel." he answered with a flat voice. Her eyes began widening with fear and her heart forcefully pounded with uneasiness as they crept their way towards Tundra Encampment.
Tundra Wolves surrounded Mazaska, snarling and looking at her with piercing eyes.
"What have you brought to me, Maccon?" boomed a voice from a rock so high that it seemed to touch the clouds.
"A trespasser from the Dawnfall Pack." he answered back, flicking his flaky tail towards Mazaska.Snarling rose from the crowd of wolves.Then the wolf on the tall rock gracefully jumped off and landed squarely in front of Mazaska. He then circled around her, examining every inch of Mazaska. She narrowed her eyes and tensed her muscles to show her strength.
"What are you going to do with her, Alpha Convel?" Maccon hissed. Alpha Convel narrowed his dark, amber eyes at Mazaska and answered flatly,"We will keep her hostage until Dawnfall Pack learns how to give away territory." Mazaska widened her eyes with disbelief.
"You can't do that!" she rose to her paws and faced Alpha Convel. She was so close to Alpha Convel, that she could feel him breathing down onto her. Mazaska drew out her claws and the crowd of wolves gasped at her challenge.
"I will waste my time with an amateur." he turned around and made his way to his cave.
"She shouldn't be here. The Tundra Pack can't afford another mouth to feed." whispered a wolf.
"She deserves to be held hostage. Dawnfall Pack must know how to let go of their territory to let another pack survive." Mazaska hissed at the wolf's remark.
"Zayev, guard the hostage." called out Alpha Convel. A wolf with fur dark as the night padded his way towards Mazaska. He was about the same moons as Mayzaska, but his eyes held great wisdom. Zayev made his way towards Mazaska and growled quietly.
"Well, thanks for the welcoming." she said sarcastically. He glared at her and narrowed his dark, brown eyes.
"Get up hostage, I'm taking you to where you'll sleep. Alpha Convel is assigning you to sleep in the Trainees den. Unfortunately, I'm a Trainee..." he mumbled.
Mayzaska entered a cave with several Trainee wolves curled up in their nests. As she settled in her nest, several of the wolves next to her moved away. She sighed heavily and curled up into a ball of fur. Please come soon... anyone, please come.

This was unexpected

For me, sickness is very unexpected.
One day I'm perfectly fine, the next day, I'm wheezing for breath.
Yes, I am sick... My mom believes I'm dying, but I simply have the flu. I was deadly sick during the beginning of the week, but I'm feeling a bit better now. The reason why I'm talking about my sickness is because it's the reason why I haven't been able to post this week's chapter. You may be wondering: Why u no post chapter now?
Because I'm not allowed to be on the computer. I should be sleeping right now, but I'm being kind by informing you all that I will be taking a very short break from posting.
Thank you for understanding.

Chapter 2

Mazaska's fur stood up with agitation. "The Tundra Pack is trying to gain more land," Alpha Cailean had whispered to Sova. "With land, there comes power. We can't let them get too ambitious. Be sure to keep a sharp nose when patrolling..."
Mazaska padded along the borders with uneasiness. She glanced back at her littermate, Mysti, to see if she was anxious too. Perhaps I'm thinking too hard about the subject... Mazaska thought. She closed her eyes and breathed in the sweet smell of the forest. She heard the running of the rivers and the flow of the trees. No wonder why the Tundra Pack would want our land.
"Mazaska!" snapped Sova. "Stop day dreaming and start doing your job."
"Why are you so pushy?" she grumbled.
"Because Alpha Cailean expects a lot from me." Sova chided.
"It's not like you're the Beta..." Sova furiously glared at Mazaska's remark. Fine, if he wants to be imperious, then so be it. She bounded away from the patrol group and fell into a hunter's crouch. Her fur color wasn't adaptable to her surroundings, but she was an excellent hunter. Mazaska closed her eyes and lifted her muzzle. The scent of fresh elk stained the forest floor. She narrowed her eyes and viewed a swarm of prey. Fresh prey.... Mazaska licked her lips and made her way towards the elk pack. Voices of her pack-mates called out for her name, but she wasn't going to let that stop her from hunting down the elks. I haven't seen an elk for so many moons... Mazaska quietly snarled and continued. Within minutes, she was a few tail lengths away from the elk. The aroma of the sweet scent of fresh meat flowed through the air. She crouched down, tensing as she was preparing her leap towards the elk's throat. Suddenly, the pack of elks lifted their heads from grazing and cried out a warning. Before she could jump out and attack one, the pack of elks had escaped.
"Sova, I know you're there!" growled Mazaska. "How could you make me mess up? I could have killed that elk! It would've fed the whole pack!" She whipped around to face Sova, but instead, she faced a broad, large wolf with narrowed eyes.
"I'm not Sova and you're on the wrong territory."

~~~
His plan was working. He dug his sharp claws into the hard, cold ground. He was going to win. Evil will always win. He grinned and circled around the small pool of water. Pictures of the Packs appeared on the pool of water. Yes, they where thriving, but soon, evil would take over and soon, he would be in control, just like it had been.
"No more games." he growled. "Evil is coming."
Chapter 1
Eerie howls echoed all throughout the vast forest and soft whispers followed. Mazaska, a young wolf with misty, gray fur, glanced around anxiously. She opened her mouth to warn her pack-mates that evil was coming, but a piercing sharp object sliced through her side, making her stumble onto the ground. No, no! Mazaska thought. A shadow crept around her slyly. It bent down and hissed into Mazaska's ear,"Evil has arrived."  Its breath was hot in her ear and its voice sounded scratchy. The outsider then lifted up a sharp object and impaled it into Mazaska's chest.
"Wake up, sleepy head!" Mazaska shot open her eyes, her chest heaving from deep breathes.
"What's with you?" asked a wolf with bold, brown streaked fur. "Was it another dream?" Mazaska blinked her eyes rapidly with puzzlement.
"Where did it go?" she asked, her voice shaky.
"Where did what go? Oh, I see! You're still half asleep. Wake up already, training already began." Sova ordered.
Had it been just another dream? Mazaska said to herself. I-It can't be... It felt so real!
"Get out of the cave already, Mazaska!" called out another voice. She shook her head and stumbled out of the den. Mazaska stepped into the sunlight and gazed upon their encampment. Green, earthly grass covered the forest floor and Mazaska's fellow pack-mates surrounded her.
"Finally you're up!" chirped Mysti, Mazaska's litter mate."We where all waiting for you." Mysti wagged her tail and tilted her head towards a small patrol group.
"We're patrolling?" Mazaska questioned. Sova, her closest companion, sat beside her.
"Yes, Alpha Cailean said she sniffed out some scents from the Tundra Pack." explained Sova. Alpha Cailean, the leader of the Dawn Pack padded towards the patrol.
"Be sure to be extra careful when checking the scents." a lean, bright-eyed she-wolf notified. Mysti yelped in surprise.
"A-Alpha Cailean! My apologizes, you frightened me there for a moment." Mysti said nervously as she marvelously looked at the pack's leader. Alpha Cailean glanced at Sova and swiftly nodded. Sova must be the leader of the patrol... again. Mazaska glared at her sister, who was still amazed by Alpha Cailean.
"It's absolutely astounding," Mysti whispered,"how Alpha Cailean accomplished so much in her life. Sometimes I feel bad for her since she's the only Alpha of the 4 Packs who's a she-wolf." Mazaska sighed with annoyance as she attempted to block out her litter-mate's comments about Alpha Cailean.
"Listen up!" shouted Sova. "We're going to patrol the border. Tundra Pack might be trying to extend the border lines, so be sure to keep a sharp nose." The group nodded their heads intently and with that, the patrol bounded their way towards the border.
He growled and howled loudly with despise. He hated watching the Packs. He hated watching them thrive. He hated the Lights. Pacing around, his hatred towards the wolves grew stronger.
Many moons ago, the Four Packs where once united by a very compelling, yet ambitious, Alpha wolf. He seeked for power and respect, but his intentions soon became a threat towards the Packs. His power grew strong enough to destroy all of the Packs. Although, spirits from the skies called Lights came down and sided with the Packs. With their help, the Packs where able to defeat the ambitious wolf. The Lights then banished him into eternal darkness.
 "They took everything from me. It is time for me to take what belongs to me."
Explanation
Well, this is new for me.
SO, this blog is not about pictures of wolves, it's about the story of them... or at least through their view. I'm not exactly sure how this story will go. I'm free styling. I did have the idea of this story back when I was in third grade, but I never got to finish the story. I wrote down the first few chapters in my note book, but I unfortunately lost it....
Now, here I am restarting my brilliant idea that I had in third grade. The gist of the story is mainly about four packs facing their greatest threat... it sounds better than it really is.
Anyways, I'd like to dedicate this to:
My Aunt Shannah, who read the first few chapters of this story that I lost, my loving family, and Erin Hunter, who inspired me to love nature (and cats).
